A chawan created in collaboration between matcháti and nadiia.The traditional Japanese bowl shape — sugi-nari 杉形 — is designed for preparing and drinking matcha.This chawan was handmade by Volodymyr Onyshchenko, a master who has been working with ceramics for over 40 years. The subtle gradient from light gray to deep black is the result of a unique glazing technique masterfully executed by Volodymyr.“Mriya” (The Dream) is the result of nearly a year of research into form, color, materials, and glaze. In this collaboration, we combined Ukrainian craftsmanship and Japanese traditions."
