Postcards

"With news from heart to heart" - the words printed on Nadiia postcards. They were created in collaboration with @carpatiancult - a project engaged in ethnographic research of the Carpathian region. The postcards depict photos of Hutsul families and their life in the 19th century.

The card itself is a symbol of exchanging warm feelings with those who are not around now. They are a sentimental reminder of the days when cards were the quickest way to send words of support to a loved one. They helped exchange news, with greetings and wishes, bridging the distance between those who were separated by thousands of miles.
